| Das mittelalterliche Dorf Dolcedo liegt traumhaft zu beiden Seiten eines Flusses in altem Olivenland. Dahinter befinden sich Wälder, Wiesen, Berge (bis 2200m) und andere malerische Orte Liguriens. Sehenswert sind in Dolcedo die verwinkelten Gassen mit schönen alten Palazzi, die mittelalterlichen Brücken, die Barockkirche San Tommaso, auf deren Kirchplatz im Sommer abends klassische Konzerte stattfinden und der Sarazenenturm. Dolcedo liegt 5-6 km landeinwärts von der Küstenstadt Imperia entfernt. Fahrtzeit bis zu den nächsten Stränden: 15 min. Gute Rad- und Wanderwege in die Nachbartäler. Reitstall (Pferdetrekking, Ponyreiten für Kinder), Kinderspielplatz und Mofa- bzw. Vespaverleih. Gute Busverbindungen. Bis zum Strand sind es 10-15 Autominuten. Von der Haustür aus läuft man direkt in die Olivenhaine. Die Umgebung ist ideal zum Wandern und Radfahren mit schönen Blicken in die Alpen und auf das Mittelmeer. Schöne Orte in der Nähe sind: Nizza, Monte-Carlo, Menton, San Remo, Imperia, Alassio, Albenga, Savona, Genua. |
